Leah is currently a stay at home mom with three children. She graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Elective Studies degree and a license in Early Childhood. She also has an AAS degree in Health Information from Rasmussen College. She worked in Child Care in MN for 7 years, five of which were as an assistant director.

Jennifer joined the BVCC staff in January of 2007. She is currently the Early Childhood Director and the Director for Little Sprouts Learning Center. Jennifer graduated from Missouri Southern State College in Joplin, Missouri with a degree in Elementary Education.
Jennifer feels really blessed to be able to be a part of the Children's Ministry at BVCC where she is able to apply her passion for learning, passion for children, and passion for serving others to the glory of God!

I moved here four years ago with my husband who had accepted a new position within the Bentonville area. Many of our Little Sprouts came out for the Bella Vista Christian Block Party on Sunday and we had a BLAST!!!

Ms. Sue reminded the students that their plants needed light and water to continue growing. AND as an added bonus, you could give them haircuts whenever necessary. The kids thought this was pretty funny!!

Remember your Book Orders next week!!
We LOVE books here at Little Sprouts, so we have decided to send home Scholastic Book Orders with our students this week. Scholastic is an inexpensive way for parents to purchase quality books for their children to read at home. In addition, our class earns free books for every purchase that is made. If you would like to order, please return your check payable to Scholastic Book Clubs and your order form by Monday or Tuesday. Thanks!Don't forget "Sharing" time!
Parents, make sure to check the weekly note regarding what day we will be doing "sharing time". The sharing time will usually correspond with the color the kids are studying for the week. This student brought his BROWN item to share. . . Can you guess what it was???
New Addition to Little Sprouts: Music Class
The Mini and Mighty classes both got to enjoy music class with Ms. Linda this week. What a fun time they had!! They learned lots of fun songs about animals this week. . . 5 green speckled frogs, Jack the Horse, Tiny Tim Turtle and more!

Little Sprouts is actively looking for a preschool classroom assistant to work Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 to noon. This is an hourly position for 7 hours a week. The minis enjoyed some "center" time this morning. The center choices were measurement, dress-up, home-living (kitchen), chalk drawing, science (grass project), journals, puzzles and library. As you can see, they all enjoyed it and had fun exploring their new centers!
